Job summary

ASX is seeking a Principal Cloud Engineer for the Clearing Risk Platform. You will provide direction on technical solutions and engineering practices, mentor the team in best practices, and ensure system stability, availability and monitoring in a multi-cloud environment.

You will collaborate across Architecture and Engineering, drive documentation, and deliver compliant, scalable cloud solutions aligned with ASX standards.

Qualifications

• Must have delivered programs of work in a complex, agile environment.
• Led end-to-end cloud implementations in complex environments.
• Senior cloud engineering experience in public, private and hybrid clouds.
• Strong understanding of cloud engineering with GCP, AWS, or VMware.
• Experience running multi-cloud environments and security considerations.
• Knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS concepts.
• Understand enterprise networking and cloud-native solutions.
• Experience in Terraform and cloud automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implementation of a cloud solution within Markets technology.
• Collaborate with Architecture to realize Cloud strategy and vision.
• Ensure design/engineering processes adhere to standards and deliver a compliance report.
• Lead delivery of technical documentation: best practices, standards, processes.
• Provide expert services on micro services, CD, multi-cloud, data engineering, DevSecOps.
• Contribute to cross-functional team planning, design, and feature delivery.
• Review work with stakeholders to ensure functional and non-functional requirements.
• Engage with non-technical stakeholders to confirm solutions meet their needs.
