Job summary

Wilder Fox in Sydney is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record delivering high-end commercial assets. You will lead projects in the CBD valued at $100 million and above, representing the client through all stages from brief to handover.

Reporting to the client and collaborating with designers, architects and engineers, you will manage budgets, timelines and procurement, ensuring quality, profitability and regulatory compliance across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of client-side project management in high-end commercial assets.
• Track record delivering projects valued at $100M+ in hospitality sector.
• Deep knowledge of construction methodologies, codes and best practices.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling and resource management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs and contracts.
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
• Relevant certifications in project/construction management.

Responsibilities

• Act as the key contact and advocate client interests through project lifecycle.
• Oversee planning, execution and delivery of high-end commercial projects in Sydney.
• Collaborate with design team, architects and consultants to meet objectives.
• Develop and manage budgets, timelines and resources; ensure quality and profitability.
• Lead procurement: tendering, contractor selection and contracts.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, implement mitigation to stay on track.
• Foster relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers and regulators.
• Run project meetings, prepare reports, provide updates on status.
• Resolve conflicts during construction; enforce safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and health and safety throughout lifecycle.
