Qualifications

• High level knowledge of the curriculum with focus on literacy and numeracy.
• Ability to plan and evaluate high-impact teaching strategies.
• Proficient in monitoring, assessing learning and using data for feedback.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; collaborate with school community.
• Commitment to reflective practice and ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Contribute to curriculum development and evaluation.
• Undertake classroom duties as determined by the School Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Mentor/coach other teachers and supervise student teachers.
