ERSCON Pty. Ltd. in Cairns is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee civil infrastructure and land development projects across Queensland.

You will lead end‑to‑end delivery, manage budgets, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate has a degree in Engineering or related field and at least 8 years of experience in consultancy environments, with strong leadership, client management, and knowledge of local council approvals.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience managing civil infrastructure, land development, or structural projects.
Strong commercial acumen with budgets, schedules and contract negotiations.
Familiarity with Queensland regional council frameworks and approvals processes.

Responsibilities

End-to-End Project Delivery: lead civil/structural projects from scoping to handover.
Financial & Risk Management: manage budgets, forecast variations, mitigate risks.
Stakeholder & Client Management: primary contact for clients, sub-consultants, contractors and authorities.
Team Coordination: mobilise engineers and surveyors to meet milestones within budget.
Contract Administration: manage engineering contracts with safety and quality compliance.
