Job summary

AEGIS – Consulting Engineers and Project Managers is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to join our growing firm in Wollongong. You will work on a variety of remediation, residential, and commercial projects within a supportive team, contributing to design, reporting, and project management.

The role offers flexible work/life balance, opportunities for professional progression toward CPEng, and a dynamic, locally focused practice serving major regional clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years’ post-graduate experience in Australian building/construction consultancy.
• Active progression toward CPEng accreditation.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, SpaceGass, SLB, Bluebeam and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular professional communication with clients.
• Conduct site inspections, measurements and remediation design work.
• Prepare engineering reports and design calculations with minimal supervision.
• Deliver design and remedial scopes for Class 1-3 buildings and community projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
