Job summary

BMD is a leading Australian civil contractor delivering major infrastructure across the Northern Territory. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive delivery of civil construction projects in Darwin, Katherine and surrounding regions, reporting to senior leadership and leading high-performing teams to achieve safety, commercial and operational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (required).
• 10+ years' experience within the civil construction industry.
• Previous project management experience in civil infrastructure delivery.
• Experience across earthworks, drainage, roads and community infrastructure projects.
• Strong commercial acumen and contract management capability.
• Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
• Proven stakeholder and client relationship management experience.
• A collaborative leadership style focused on team success.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of civil construction projects.
• Develop construction methodologies, staging and programming strategies.
• Drive safety, environmental and quality performance across projects.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts and financial performance.
• Lead and develop high-performing project teams.
• Build and maintain strong client, consultant and stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee subcontractor management and work package development.
• Deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
