Job summary

Foundation Recruitment Aus Pty Ltd – Sydney NSW is seeking a Senior Construction Manager (Civil) to lead multiple large civil projects in the Northern Territory from Darwin. The role includes a relocation package and six months of accommodation for you and your family.

You will report to senior management and drive programs, commercial performance and safety across Tier 1/2 projects, with strong emphasis on government/defence work and stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years' post-graduate experience with a Principal Contractor.
• Proven delivery of $10M+ projects.
• Experience managing hard-dollar projects over $10M.
• Strong project and financial management, forecasting, procurement and contract management experience.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Demonstrated ability to drive programs and achieve project objectives.
• Proven leadership of large project teams with a strong safety focus.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
• Australian citizen and able to obtain government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the project program, productivity, quality/conformance and safety across multiple civil projects.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and performance guidance to project teams.
• Lead resource planning and team integration.
• Develop and monitor construction methodologies and approaches.
• Ensure commercial and financial performance of projects.
• Support Pre-Contracts with programming and methodologies.
• Maintain strong client/stakeholder relationships and uphold company reputation.
