Job summary

BMD is a leading Australian civil contractor delivering major infrastructure across the Northern Territory. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive delivery of civil construction projects in Darwin, Katherine and surrounding regions, reporting to senior leadership and leading high-performing teams to achieve safety, commercial and operational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (required).
• 10+ years' experience within the civil construction industry.
• Previous project management experience in civil infrastructure delivery.
• Experience across earthworks, drainage, roads and community infrastructure projects.
• Strong commercial acumen and contract management capability.
• Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
• Proven stakeholder and client relationship management experience.
• A collaborative leadership style focused on team success.

• Develop construction methodologies, staging and programming strategies.
• Drive safety, environmental and quality performance across projects.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts and financial performance.

• Oversee subcontractor management and work package development.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Northern Territory team, delivering key infrastructure projects across Darwin, Katherine and surrounding regions.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will drive the successful delivery of civil construction projects while leading high-performing teams, managing client relationships and ensuring strong commercial, safety and operational outcomes.

Projects You'll Deliver

Our NT portfolio includes:

• Residential and industrial land developments
• Water and sewer infrastructure upgrades
• Road infrastructure projects for local councils
• Defence infrastructure projects
• Community infrastructure and urban development works

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of civil construction projects
• Develop construction methodologies, staging and programming strategies
