Job summary

Stellar Recruitment seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead planning, coordination and delivery of civil construction from mobilisation through close-out in Western Australia. The role focuses on safe, on-spec, on-budget delivery with Perth-based duties and site visits for FIFO projects.

You will report to the Civil Manager and oversee programs, budgets, ITPs and quality control, while building strong client and partner relationships to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Civil Engineering degree is required.
• Proven experience as Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer in civil construction in Australia.
• Experience delivering Main Roads Western Australia road projects is highly regarded.
• Strong planning, programming, cost control and reporting skills.
• Experience leading subcontractors and site teams across competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and technical delivery from planning to completion.
• Prepare and manage programs, look-aheads, methodologies and work packs.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, labour and equipment.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, variations, progress claims and reporting.
• Prepare and review ITPs, quality records and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, standards and contracts.
• Drive inspections, testing and project close-out.
• Manage project risks and productivity opportunities.
• Build relationships with clients and partners.
