Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for Water Infrastructure to lead design and delivery of potable water and wastewater projects in Queensland. You will work in a multidisciplinary team, managing scope, budgets, and timelines while building client relationships and supporting bids.

The role offers hybrid work options across Rockhampton with a focus on technical excellence, sustainability, and community impact in water networks and related facilities.

Qualifications

• Experienced and motivated engineer to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions.
• Ideally bring: Bachelor in Civil Engineering, professional accreditation, and proven design delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects within a multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute across the full project lifecycle from business development to commissioning.
• Manage scope, quality, budgets and schedules for successful outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support winning proposals and tenders through sound project management and commercial insight.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers while expanding leadership capabilities.
