Job summary

Egis Group in Perth is seeking a Principal Civil Designer with 10+ years' experience to lead high-level design for civil, structural, and related disciplines within WA.

The role offers progression to a Discipline Lead, mentoring junior designers, and contributing to projects across local government, private infrastructure and resources, with flexible/remote options and a strong emphasis on technical excellence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of civil design experience in professional services.
• Associate Degree or Advanced Diploma of Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Valid full drivers license.
• Design of multi-disciplinary projects using 12D and Autocad; exposure to Microstation and CADconform.
• Strong client management and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design multi-disciplinary civil projects ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Provide high level technical support for all design drawings.
• Direct preparation of preliminary and detailed designs per project scope.
• Prepare construction documentation and specifications for design works.
• Allocate resources to complete drawings on time and within budget.
• Mentor junior designers and promote technical excellence.
