Agilitus in Newcastle is seeking a Senior Civil Designer to join our team, supporting projects across the resources, energy and industrial sectors and expanding our engineering and design capabilities within a collaborative, supportive culture.

As part of our civil and hydrology services, you will deliver design deliverables, develop efficient Civil Design solutions and lead drafting teams for diverse clients, with a focus on quality and timely execution.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced Diploma in engineering or equivalent drafting training.
• High level of experience with engineering design software.
• Knowledge of civil design standards and guidelines.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Designer to join our Newcastle team. As our client portfolio grows across the resources, energy and industrial sectors, this position will help support and expand our engineering and design capabilities. This a great opportunity for a talented and passionate designer to be part of a supportive and collaborative team.

Our civil and hydrology teams deliver a full suite of civil services including bulk earthworks design, roadwork design, stormwater design, utility services design, traffic engineering, rail and heavy haul rail engineering, and contract management. We specialise in optimising bulk earthworks and provide design, documentation, and construction support services on all aspects of road infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• To deliver accurate, well presented, and conforming design deliverables using Agilitus systems and procedures
• Developing functional, and efficient Civil Design solutions
• Leading drafting teams across a range of varying discipline projects for various clients.

Here’s what you’ll need

• Advanced Diploma in engineering or applicable drafting traineeship (or similar)
• High level of experience and ability in use of applicable engineering design systems and software
• Knowledge of applicable Civil design standards and guidelines.

Located in the Hunter Mall Chambers opposite Queens Wharf, our Newcastle office boasts spectacular views of the Newcastle Harbour. Supported by Matt Brown, Operations Manager – East Coast, our local multidisciplinary teams are supporting our East Coast clients through a range of local projects, showcasing our expansion into the Hunter region. Our Newcastle team also integrates and supports the broader works in the West by collaborating with our Perth and Mandurah teams.
