Agilitus is seeking an Engineering Manager to join our Brisbane team. You will lead a cross-project engineering group across resources, energy and industrial sectors, partnering with internal stakeholders to deliver client outcomes.

With a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 15+ years’ experience, you will drive systems, processes and training to ensure compliance and performance, while fostering a collaborative culture and career growth.

• Proven experience leading large teams across multiple projects in parallel.

Responsibilities

• Manage a cross-project Engineering Team that supports multiple complex projects in parallel and collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure customer outcomes.
• Develop systems, tools and procedures to ensure compliance with statutory/regulatory requirements and project scopes.
• Ensure staff are trained, organized and managed to meet profitability and efficiency targets.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Manager to join our Brisbane team. As our client portfolio grows across the resources, energy and industrial sectors, this position will help support and expand our engineering and design capabilities. Agilitus QLD is a young, dynamic engineering consultancy with two offices across Queensland including Hyde Park in Townsville and Brisbane’s CBD. The business has grown with the broader Agilitus business with offices on the West Coast in Perth and Mandurah, and East Coast in Newcastle. We are well known and respected across Queensland resources and industrial sector clients for our ‘can do’ attitude to developing sustainable and appropriate engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a cross-project Engineering Team that provides resources and services in support of multiple complex projects in parallel, whilst working closely with multiple key internal stakeholders on a day-to-day basis to ensure that customer outcomes are being achieved
• Developing systems, tools and procedures to ensure engineering projects comply with statutory and regulatory requirements, company policies and conditions set out in project scopes of works
• Ensure employees are suitably trained, organised and managed to deliver the efficiency and profitability targets for the business

Here’s what you’ll need

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering with 15+ years’ experience
• Ability to present to business leaders and clients with excellent communication (written & verbal)
• Proven experience in leading large teams and can deliver consistent quality results across multiple disciplines on multiple projects in parallel
