Job summary

Peoplebank is seeking a Senior Cisco Telephony & Network Engineer in Sydney to design, implement, and support enterprise voice and unified communications.

You will manage Cisco Collaboration platforms, call routing, dial plans, and ensure high-performance voice quality across core networks, including VXLAN EVPN and wireless.

The role covers BAU support, project delivery, and documentation; Cisco certifications are desirable and experience with SIP trunks and gateways is expected.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Cisco Collaboration platforms, including CUCM, Unity Connection, UCCX/UCCE, and Webex Calling.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco networking technologies, including Catalyst switching, VXLAN EVPN, and wireless infrastructure.
• Proven expertise managing SIP trunks, dial plans, gateways, and enterprise voice configurations
• Familiarity with Cisco licensing models, subscription management, and collaboration migration projects
• Cisco certifications desirable, with ability to manage BAU and project priorities in enterprise environments

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support Cisco Unified Communications and VoIP environments
• Administer Cisco voice platforms, call routing, dial plans, and system upgrades
• Monitor and troubleshoot voice quality, connectivity, and network performance issues
• Maintain telephony, call flow, and core network technical documentation
