Job summary

Shannon Avenue Chiropractic is seeking a hands-on reception/admin team member for a busy Geelong clinic. The permanent part-time role runs Tue, Wed and Thu, starting between 8–9am and finishing at 3:00pm each day, at a freshly renovated Manifold Heights site.

You will welcome patients, manage bookings and payments, support the Lead Chiropractor, and help with social media content creation. A friendly, organised approach and strong communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients with warm, professional service.
• Manage reception, calls, bookings, payments and patient administration.
• Support the Lead Chiropractor and collaborate with the team of allied health staff.
• Coordinate bookings and inquiries for multidisciplinary practitioners.
• Maintain accurate patient records, schedules and admin tasks.
• Create social media content (Instagram, Facebook) including posts and Reels.
• Maintain a positive, organised clinic environment; cover holidays as needed.

Shannon Avenue Chiropractic - Manifold Heights VIC

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking initiative, supporting a busy practitioner and helping a multidisciplinary healthcare team deliver excellent patient care. Employment is permanent part-time, working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with a start time between 8-9am and finish at 3:00 pm each day. The role is based in a newly renovated clinic in Manifold Heights.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome patients and deliver warm, professional customer service
• Manage reception, phone calls, bookings, payments and patient administration
• Support the Lead Chiropractor as their right hand throughout the day and work alongside the current team of Chiropractic Assistants
• Coordinate bookings and enquiries for the wider multidisciplinary team of allied health practitioners
• Keep patient records, schedules and administrative tasks accurate and organised
• Create and contribute to social media content for platforms such as Instagram and Facebook, including posts, short videos and Reels
• Help maintain a positive, organised and welcoming clinic environment
• Demonstrate flexibility to cover holiday and sick leave

About you

• Strong administration experience, preferably in a busy, people-facing environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A high level of emotional intelligence and the ability to build rapport with people of all ages
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Confidence using computers, booking systems and everyday office technology
• Social media skills, including creating content for Instagram and Facebook, with confidence capturing photos or videos and creating posts or Reels
• The initiative to work independently, anticipate what's needed and support the Lead Chiropractor without needing constant direction
• An interest in health, wellbeing and helping people
• Previous experience in chiropractic, allied health, healthcare reception or another multidisciplinary healthcare setting would be highly regarded
