Job summary

Beachfront Company Pty Ltd on Hastings St, Noosa Heads, is seeking an experienced Senior Chef to lead our culinary team in a full-time role, responsible for maintaining high standards, managing kitchen staff and delivering memorable dining experiences for guests.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in professional kitchens with 3–5 years in a senior capacity, expertise in international cuisine, strong leadership, food safety and budget control.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in professional kitchens with 3–5 years in a senior/head chef role
• Comprehensive knowledge of international cuisine and ability to create refined dishes
• Strong leadership, team development and collaboration across the kitchen and front-of-house

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all kitchen operations with consistent quality and presentation
• Supervise, train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain a professional working environment
• Develop and refine menus in consultation with management
• Ensure food safety, hygiene and health regulations at all times
• Monitor inventory, manage food costs and minimise waste while upholding standards
• Coordinate with front-of-house for seamless service and guest satisfaction
• Manage supplier relationships and source premium ingredients
• Maintain kitchen equipment and coordinate maintenance
• Create SOPs and recipes to ensure consistency across menu items
