Job summary

BIG4 Noosa North Shore Retreat, part of The Park Lane Group, is seeking a passionate senior chef to lead kitchen operations alongside the Executive team. You will deliver exceptional meals across our café, bistro, school camps and events, ensuring high standards and a collaborative team culture.

Candidate must hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, bring fast-paced kitchen experience, strong food safety knowledge and be able to work a rotating roster including school holidays.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (minimum).
• Previous experience as a Sous Chef, Senior Chef de Partie, or Chef de Partie ready to step up.
• Strong food safety knowledge and commitment to quality.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to perform under pressure.
• Ability to work across a rotating roster during school holidays.

Responsibilities

• Help lead the kitchen operation and deliver high-quality meals across multiple dining experiences.
• Support the day-to-day operation of a busy commercial kitchen.
• Mentor junior chefs and support a positive team culture.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, menu development and waste minimisation.
• Maintain exceptional food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards.
