Job description

Help shape how technology change is adopted across a purpose-led Australian mutual bank.

As Senior Change Manager, you’ll influence change across a significant technology portfolio, helping leaders understand cumulative impacts, adoption risks and organisational readiness. You’ll work strategically across multiple initiatives while remaining close to delivery, ensuring new technologies, processes and ways of working are understood, embraced and embedded.
This is an opportunity to contribute to TMBL’s funded, multi-year technology transformation. You’ll work across legacy tooling and processes alongside emerging platforms, helping modernise and secure the technology foundations of a growing digital bank.

Why this role matters

Technology change only delivers value when people are ready and supported to adopt it. You’ll bring a coordinated portfolio view, helping TMBL sequence change effectively, reduce stakeholder fatigue and strengthen adoption across complex initiatives.
Your work will support improvements in organisational capability, operational effectiveness and risk management, with visibility across Technology leaders, delivery teams and business stakeholders.

What you’ll do
  • Develop a portfolio-wide view of technology change, identifying cumulative impacts, dependencies and competing demands.
  • Advise leaders on organisational readiness, change saturation, sequencing, adoption risks and priorities.
  • Lead end-to-end change management for complex initiatives, including cybersecurity uplift, enterprise application modernisation and service management improvement.
  • Translate technical change into clear business messages, practical employee actions and proportionate adoption plans.
  • Build trusted relationships with sponsors, leaders and cross-functional delivery teams, strengthening sponsorship and informing design decisions.
  • Identify capability gaps and develop targeted learning approaches, including practical resources, digital learning and peer support networks.

Essential
  • Extensive organisational change management experience, including work within technology programmes, portfolios or delivery teams.

  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and advising portfolio, programme and project leaders.
  • Tertiary qualifications in change management, communications, business, human resources or a related discipline.
  • Prosci, ADKAR or an equivalent change management certification.

Nice to have
  • Experience within banking, financial services or another regulated industry.
