Redcliffe Area Youth Space (RAYS) is seeking a Senior Case Worker to provide intensive case management and outreach for young people aged 10–17 on bail, across the Moreton Bay region including Redcliffe. The role focuses on risk management, complex coordination and reflective practice within a supportive team.

The position requires substantial experience with young people in complex circumstances, a strong commitment to trauma-informed care, and the ability to work collaboratively with statutory

Qualifications

• Substantial experience working directly with young people in complex cases.
• Experience in outreach, intensive case management or youth justice settings.
• Experience providing peer consultation, mentoring or practice support.

Responsabilités

• Build trusting, consistent relationships with young people and reconnect them with services.
• Undertake comprehensive assessments and develop individualised support plans.
• Support young people to understand and navigate bail conditions and safety planning.
• Deliver targeted interventions that strengthen emotional regulation and problem-solving.
• Coordinate complex cases with multidisciplinary teams including youth justice, courts and police.
• Contribute to risk assessments, case reviews and escalation processes.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior staff and peers.
• Maintain accurate case records and contribute to reporting.
