Job summary

Queensland Corrective Services is seeking a Senior Case Manager to assess offending risk and need, develop engagement plans, and coordinate rehabilitation, reintegration and community supervision outcomes for incarcerated individuals. The role acts as the primary case management contact for persons in custody and liaises with custodial officers, offender development, sentence management, parole board and community corrections staff to support readiness for release.

Qualifications

• Experience in the criminal justice environment or similar environment.
• Ability to prepare objective, analytical reports.
• Engage with a diverse client group and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assess offending risk and need and develop engagement plans to improve rehabilitation and reintegration outcomes.
• Coordinate activities to support readiness for release and transition back to the community.
• Act as the primary case management contact for persons in custody and liaise with custodial officers and relevant stakeholders.
