Job summary

VACCA is seeking a Nugel Senior Case Manager in Morwell, Victoria to lead culturally centred case work for Aboriginal children and families within the CYFA framework.

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will work with government and sector partners, applying a trauma-informed, therapeutic approach to improve home safety and family capacity, while supporting senior duties and complex caseloads.

Qualifications

• A recognised Social Work degree or similar welfare/behavioural related degree.
• Valid Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Victorian Driver Licence. Current COVID-19 vaccination strongly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Lead case management for Aboriginal children and families with complex needs.
• Collaborate with Team Leader and senior staff and support a higher workload.
• Engage with external partners (police, courts, service providers) to achieve outcomes.
• Document care plans, risk assessments and court reports with accuracy.
