Job summary

The Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency (VACCA) is seeking a Nugel Case Support Worker to join our Gippsland team. You will work with Nugel Case Managers under the Team Leader to perform case work and essential administrative tasks, supporting referrals, outreach, and coordinating services for Aboriginal children and families.

You will help maintain culturally appropriate, court-ordered contact and provide transport or supervision as required, contributing to the CYFA framework and

Qualifications

• Valid Police Check.
• Victorian Working with Children’s Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Victorian Driver Licence.
• Current COVID-19 vaccination (Strongly Recommended).
• Knowledge of child safety regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Work with Nugel Case Managers and under the Nugel Team Leader to perform case work and administrative tasks.
• Assist with referrals, make phone calls, and research supports for clients.
• Provide transport or supervision for court-ordered contact between children and families.
• Ensure culturally appropriate practices and contact arrangements under CYFA.
