Job summary

Renaissance Care (Scotland) Riverside is seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our night-shift team for 44 hours per week. You will supervise care assistants, ensure residents' privacy, dignity and rights are respected, and contribute to individual care plans in collaboration with the Nurse and Home Manager.

Applicants should hold SVQ3 in Health and Social Care and be trained in Medication Administration, with proven experience as a senior in the care sector and strong communication

Qualifications

• SVQ3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care and medication administration training.
• Experience as a senior in the care sector.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in a multi-disciplinary setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support to care assistants and ensure residents' needs are met.
• Assess residents' needs and contribute to care plans with the Nurse and Management.

Senior Care Assistant (Nights)
We are seeking talented and caring individuals looking to begin or continue their career in Social Care with us, making a difference to the lives of our residents at Renaissance Care.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Care Assistant join our team in Riverside for 44 hours per week - Days
The main responsibilities will be ensuring all our residents are treated with respect, that their rights to privacy, dignity and right of choice are maintained at all times. You will provide supervision and support to care assistants, ensuring all residents' needs are met. You will assess residents' needs and have input with the Nurse and Management in formulating residents' care plans. You will support the Home Manager and Nurse in charge in maintaining the highest standards of care in accordance with the care plan, National Care Standards and SSSC Codes of Practice.
To be considered for this role you must have your SVQ3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care as well as be trained in Medication Administration. You will have previous experience as a senior in the care sector, have excellent communication skills and work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
