Job summary

Infinite Care is hiring Assistant in Nursing (AIN) to support elderly residents across AM, PM and Night shifts at our Gosford facility. You will work closely with nursing, hospitality and resident engagement teams to deliver timely, compassionate care with a safety-first approach.

We value empathy, effective communication and teamwork. Preferred candidates hold Certificate III in Individual Support or Diploma of Nursing with aged care placement, and must have or be willing to obtain the NDIS

Qualifications

• At least 12 months demonstrated working experience in the Aged Care sector.
• Willingness to obtain NDIS Workers Screening Clearance if not already held.
• Ability to think on your feet, communicate effectively and build rapport with residents and co-workers.
• Willingness to work across Night Duty shifts on a permanent part-time roster.
• Computer savvy including emails, word, and in-house training platforms.

The Opportunity

Our Assistant in Nursing (AINs) are highly interactive supporting our elderly residents, their families, and colleagues 7 days a week across AM, PM and Nightshifts. This role based at (insert Facility location link) will see you working closely with the nursing, hospitality and resident engagement teams when performing your resident-centric care duties in a timely and compassionate manner surrounded by highly skilled and supportive senior carers and managers. The attached position description outlines specific job duties and accountabilities.

About You

Ideally, you have worked in the Aged Care sector for at least 1 year and the ability to “think on your feet”, communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers alike. In addition, you will also

• Computer savvy including using emails, word and navigating inhouse training platforms.


• Excellent workplace safety awareness to avoid our residents tripping, falling or hurting themselves - you need to be their extra eyes and ears.


• Qualifications in Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) OR


• have completed the Diploma of Nursing with an aged care placement OR


• now a 2nd year nursing student with a placement.


• we do recognise other Cert III courses in related healthcare studies. Industry work placement will also be needed to meet compliance standards.


• Hold the NDIS Workers Screening Clearance as this is essential to work in the Aged Care sector. (*or willingness to obtain)
