Job summary

Christian College Geelong is seeking a faith-filled Chaplain to join our Senior Campus community and potentially other campuses as required. The role focuses on spiritual formation, pastoral care and wellbeing of students, staff and families, while contributing to the Christian life and culture of the campus.

You will lead chapel services, faith development programs and significant College events, building authentic relationships with young people in a contemporary educational setting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated active Christian faith and ongoing church involvement.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Chaplaincy, Ministry, Theology, Youth Work, Teaching or related discipline.
• Experience working with young people in educational, ministry or pastoral settings.
• Ability to lead worship services, devotions, prayer groups and faith formation initiatives.
• Strong pastoral care and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of mandatory reporting, confidentiality and referral processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead chapel services and prayer groups across the campus.
• Develop faith formation initiatives and student spiritual development programs.
• Provide pastoral support to students, staff and families.
