Job summary

Clough, part of a Joint Venture with Saipem, is delivering the CERES urea plant project in Perth, WA. We are seeking a Senior Contract Administrator to manage contracts and commercial activities across the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in contract administration (at least 3 years) within the construction, engineering, resources or EPC environment.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, subcontract management and commercial principles.
  • Demonstrated experience managing variations, claims, extensions of time and contractual correspondence.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify and manage contractual risks.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage contracts, subcontracts and commercial agreements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review, interpret and provide advice on contractual terms, obligations, entitlements and risks.
  • Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance against contractual requirements, milestones and deliverables.
  • Manage variations, claims, extensions of time, notices and other contractual matters.
  • Prepare, review and negotiate contractual correspondence with contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records of contractual documentation, correspondence, notices and commercial matters.
  • Support the preparation and assessment of progress claims, payment certificates and commercial reports.
  • Identify, assess and manage contractual and commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager, Commercial Manager and other project stakeholders to resolve contractual issues in a timely manner.
  • Support negotiations with contractors and subcontractors to achieve commercially appropriate outcomes.
  • Monitor compliance with project procedures, contractual requirements and applicable legislation.
  • Provide commercial input into project forecasts, cost reporting and financial reviews.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of contract administration processes, systems and reporting.

This role is on a 19:9 rotation to our Perdaman project in Karratha, WA.

Clough, as part of a Joint Venture with Saipem, is delivering the Project ‘CERES’ urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.


We are currently searching for Senior Contract Administratorto join team on Project Ceres in Perth. The candidate will be responsible for the effective administration and management of project contracts, ensuring contractual obligations are understood, monitored and delivered in accordance with project requirements. The role will work closely with Project Management, Commercial, Procurement, Engineering and Construction teams, as well as subcontractors and suppliers.
