Hudson Meats, based on Sydney's Lower North Shore, is seeking an experienced and passionate Butcher to join our team in a full-time role focused on delivering premium quality products and an exceptional customer experience.

As a Hudson Meats Butcher, you will contribute to efficient, quality-focused store operations while maintaining the highest standards of service, safety, and craftsmanship, including training junior team members and collaborating with the broader team to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified butcher.
• Strong customer service skills with a commitment to delivering a premium shopping experience.
• Excellent knife skills and expert meat-cutting knowledge.
• Thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Certificate III in Meat Processing or equivalent formal butchery qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Supporting day-to-day butchery operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and hygienic practices
• Delivering exceptional customer service and preparing premium cuts to customer specifications
• Training and mentoring junior team members to uphold high professional standards
• Managing stock levels, and maintaining store cleanliness
• Collaborating with the broader team to identify opportunities for operational improvement and business growth
