Job summary

The Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety (LGIRS) in Western Australia is seeking an organized administrator to provide secretarial support for all meetings, organise schedules, prepare briefing notes, agendas and reports, and ensure efficient operation of the branch.

  • Providing administrative and secretarial support for all meetings including coordination of agenda and meeting papers, preparation and distribution of minutes.
  • Organizing and providing administrative support for high-level meetings, presentations and functions.
  • Managing and maintaining a range of meeting schedules ensuring that the necessary briefing notes, agendas, correspondence, and presentations are available prior to meetings.
  • Ensuring a range of systems, processes and protocols are maintained enabling the efficient operation of the branch.
  • Providing high level customer service and ensuring responsiveness is maintained by prioritising all incoming matters including calls, queries and correspondence whilst following up on outstanding matters.

The Role

Qualifications & Licenses
  • Current Western Australian C or C-A class drivers’ licence or equivalent.
