Job Description

As our Senior Business Development Manager NSW, you will lead the state's business development function, drive customer acquisition, develop strategic industry relationships, and build a high-performing team focused on sustainable growth and commercial success.

Reporting to the NSW State Manager, you'll be responsible for growing our presence and customer base across NSW through strategic leadership, market engagement and business development excellence. You will lead and support a team while maintaining your own strong market presence and delivering growth outcomes.

About the role:

• Lead and execute the NSW business development strategy.
• Drive customer acquisition and market development initiatives.
• Develop annual growth plans and identify new market opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners, industry stakeholders and prospective customers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
• Manage pipeline performance, forecasting and CRM reporting.
• Support complex proposals, tenders and strategic opportunities.
• Lead, coach and develop Business Development Managers and onboarding team members.
• Partner closely with operational teams to ensure seamless onboarding and customer transitions.
• Represent Bright & Duggan Group at industry, networking and business events.
• Drive a collaborative, customer-focused and high-performance culture.

About You:

We are seeking a commercially focused business development leader who understands the property sector and has a proven ability to build relationships, win new business and lead teams.

• Demonstrated success in business development, sales leadership, customer acquisition or commercial relationship management.
• Previous experience within Strata Management, Building Management or Facilities Management is essential.
• Strong understanding of the NSW strata and property industry landscape.
• Existing industry networks and relationships that can be leveraged to create growth opportunities.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing business development or customer-facing teams.
• Proven track record of achieving growth, revenue and customer acquisition targets.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing pipelines, forecasting and CRM reporting.
• Experience managing strategic stakeholder and referral partner relationships.
• The ability to influence outcomes across multiple business functions.
• Experience supporting tenders, proposals, negotiations and complex commercial opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Current driver's licence.
• Strong capability using Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
• Ability to analyse commercial performance, pipeline and forecasting data.
