Job summary

Talent is seeking an experienced Business Analytics Practice Lead to steer a high-performing Business Analysis function. This senior leadership role blends technical BA expertise, people leadership and stakeholder management to deliver robust software solutions.

You will lead Analysts, set standards, translate complex business needs into testable requirements, and collaborate with Product and Technology Delivery teams to drive effective software outcomes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Business Analysis, requirements gathering and process mapping.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong understanding of BA methodologies and best practice.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience working within Agile development environments is desirable.
• Relevant IT, Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Business Analysts.
• Own and improve BA standards, methodologies and quality practices.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable requirements for development teams.
• Partner with customers and stakeholders to understand needs and facilitate solution discussions.
• Develop business requirements, user stories and supporting documentation.
• Provide expert BA guidance across projects and complex analysis activities.
• Support backlog management, prioritisation and delivery planning.
• Build strong relationships across Product, Technology & Delivery teams.
• Foster a collaborative, customer-focused and high-performing team culture.
