Bank Australia is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support delivery of the Strategic Project Portfolio, drive transformation, and partner with senior leaders across IT, regulatory and business domains. The role requires influencing senior stakeholders, delivering governance, and shaping the work needed to realise the bank’s Corporate Strategy.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success delivering material outcomes within strategic transformation programs.
• Ability to engage and influence senior leaders and dispersed teams in hybrid environments.
• Experience delivering governance for Strategic Project Portfolio and complex programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide business analysis support to strategic M&A, Regulatory, IT and transformation projects.
• Partner with senior leaders to govern the Strategic Project Portfolio and enable timely decisions.
• Provide thought leadership and set a strong example for portfolio analysis.
• Lead or support multiple activities across the Bank’s Strategic Project Portfolio with governance oversight.
• Identify risks, resolve issues and scope work to deliver strategic outcomes.
• Translate business intent into actionable requirements for fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Simplify complex topics to aid problem solving and communications enterprise-wide.
• Apply frameworks to protect critical paths and realise business objectives.
• Take ownership and drive work to completion.
• Produce artefacts like Business Cases, AS-IS/TO-BE processes, WBS, and options papers.
