Job summary

ACCC is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to drive business requirements, guide solution design and support business teams in transitioning to new ways of working. You will engage stakeholders, analyse processes and data, capture requirements and backlog items, and collaborate with product owners and delivery teams to prioritise work and manage risks.

Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to engage with business stakeholders and express needs as requirements and user stories.
• Experience conducting research and in-depth analysis of processes, data and products.
• Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts, end users, product owners, architects, developers, data modellers and testers to deliver solutions.
• Highly developed organisational skills, ability to prioritise, collaborate with stakeholders, and take ownership of outcomes.
• Preferred applicant must obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance (AGSVA).

Responsibilities

• Manage and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand the business domain, elicit requirements, challenge assumptions, and secure alignment.
• Analyse the problem domain, processes, systems and data to guide solution design and identify opportunities and risks.
• Capture knowledge, requirements, features and designs in documents, presentations and backlog items to direct project deliverables.
• Collaborate with product owners and project management to build and refine product backlogs for prioritisation and delivery scheduling.
• Engage in Scrum events, assisting with sprint planning, backlog refinement and delivery improvements.
