Job summary

Queensland Government is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to lead a comprehensive review of its ICT environment and identify opportunities to improve systems, business processes and service delivery capabilities.

Working across a complex human services environment, you will engage with business, technical and architecture stakeholders to assess existing capabilities, capture future-state requirements and evaluate contemporary technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering business reform and transformation initiatives.
• Experience within government service delivery environments.
• Familiarity with human services environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a comprehensive assessment of the current ICT environment, including systems, functionality, business processes, reporting capabilities, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Elicit, document and analyse business and solution requirements, translating operational needs into clear functional and technical deliverables.
• Develop current and future-state process maps, operating models and capability requirements using recognised BA methodologies.
• Undertake market research and engage with vendors to assess industry solutions and emerging technology capabilities.
• Conduct gap/fit analysis and options assessments to evaluate potential solutions against business requirements, existing systems and strategic objectives.
