Job summary

HCF, Australia’s largest not-for-profit health fund, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to define requirements, analyze processes and support the design of the Enterprise Consent Management capability. You will bridge business and technology teams in a highly regulated PHI environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in a relevant field and 5+ years in a senior Functional Business Analyst role.
• Experience in Private Health Insurance, General/Life Insurance and regulated environments.
• Proven ability to elicit and document business and technical requirements for consent management.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements, analyse processes, assess data and integration impacts.
• Lead artefacts: business/functional requirements, technical specs, workflows and use cases.
• Act as a conduit between business stakeholders and IT teams; translate needs into scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with Risk and Compliance to understand current and future state processes.
• Partner with implementation system integrators to align solutions with regulatory constraints.
• Support design, development, testing and implementation; assist with defect triage.
• Own and manage project and product backlog; align priorities with strategy and deadlines.
• Translate scope into functional requirements, features, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Work in Agile/Scrum and hybrid delivery environments; leverage APIs and data flows.
