Job summary

The University of Adelaide is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to join the Performance, Data and Insights – Business Intelligence team. This full-time, 24‑month fixed-term role is based at the City West campus and offers an opportunity to shape data, reporting and analytics initiatives across the university.

You will lead business analysis activities, engage stakeholders, elicit and translate complex requirements, and partner with delivery teams to deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• Experience leading business analysis activities across large initiatives.
• Extensive stakeholder engagement with senior leaders and SMEs.
• Proven ability to elicit, analyse and validate complex requirements.
• Experience mapping requirements to delivery outcomes.
• Ability to balance priorities and drive outcomes in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the discovery, analysis and definition of business requirements across data, reporting and analytics initiatives.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities and shape fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Provide expert business analysis leadership to support informed decision-making.
• Develop artefacts such as business cases, process models and user stories.
• Support testing, readiness and implementation to ensure business outcomes.
