Job summary

The University of Adelaide is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Performance, Data and Insights - Business Intelligence team. The role is a full-time 24-month fixed-term contract based at the City West campus, offering a competitive salary and 17% superannuation.

You will support requirements gathering, analytical delivery and stakeholder engagement to inform data-driven decision making across university programs.

• Proven experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement in complex organisations.
• Experience documenting business processes, requirements, and functional specs.
• Facilitating workshops, interviews, and stakeholder consultations.

Responsibilities

• Support the analysis and definition of business requirements across data, reporting and analytics initiatives.
• Partner with stakeholders to inform design and delivery of solutions that improve decision-making.
• Assist with testing, readiness, and rollout activities; prepare artefacts such as process maps and user stories.

Experience

• Demonstrated experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement within complex organisational environments
• Experience analysing and documenting business processes, requirements, and functional specifications
• Experience facilitating workshops, interviews, and stakeholder consultation activities.
• Experience supporting the delivery of data, reporting, analytics, or technology-related initiatives
• Experience preparing business analysis artefacts such as process maps, business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Experience supporting testing, business readiness, and solution implementation activities
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
