Job summary

Capricorn seeks an experienced Business Analyst to join the Technology & Information team on a 12-month contract. You will support the review and development of business processes through elicitation, documentation, design validation and solution implementation, coordinating with stakeholders and delivery teams to analyse current and future-state processes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of business analysis techniques, process improvement, change management, and waterfall and agile delivery.
• Experience facilitating workshops and eliciting functional and non-functional requirements, defining acceptance criteria and maintaining traceability through design, development, testing and implementation.
• Ability to document current-state and future-state processes and identify change impacts.
• Ability to work with solution architects and delivery teams to assess solution options and validate designs against business requirements, technical constraints and intended outcomes.
• Demonstrated capability to collaborate effectively with developers, testers, solution architects, change teams and business stakeholders throughout delivery.
• Strong Microsoft 365 skills, including Excel, Visio, Copilot, Miro and Word or comparable tools.

Responsibilities

• Review and develop business processes through elicitation, documentation, design validation and solution implementation.
• Analyse current and future-state processes and shape solution options, support testing and change activities, and maintain traceability across the SDLC.
• Coordinate small projects and system enhancements from concept through to delivery, including scope, planning, progress monitoring, resource coordination, issue management and stakeholder updates.
