Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Project/Design Leader in Sydney to lead multidisciplinary Building Engineering projects from inception through delivery. You will work closely with clients, technical leaders and project teams to define scope, manage change and deliver high-quality outcomes across major projects.

The role requires a strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, Structural or Hydraulic disciplines, with expertise in design management and project management.

Qualifications

• Experience in building engineering design and project leadership.
• Strong background in mechanical, electrical, structural, hydraulic or related disciplines.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage design & project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multidisciplinary Building Engineering projects from inception to delivery.
• Collaborate with clients, technical leaders and project teams to define scope and manage change.
• Oversee design management, scope definition, interfaces and design reviews to meet client and programme objectives.
• Drive project delivery, governance, resourcing and financial performance across the lifecycle.
• Build relationships with clients and stakeholders to enable successful project outcomes.
