Job summary

Great Southern Bank is hiring a Branch Lending Specialist in Chermside to be the first point of contact for customers seeking retail banking and lending support. You’ll build local networks, promote lending products, and manage home loans through to completion, growing your pipeline and helping Australians own their homes.

As a senior member of the branch team, you’ll be expected to drive sales, meet service standards, and develop referral networks while delivering outstanding customer service

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience mortgage lending/credit assessment
• Experience with all banking products
• Proven ability to network with key stakeholders and pursue leads
• Self-motivated, driven and results oriented with cross-selling ability
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer and sales focus
• Ability to solve complex financial problems
• Ability to work autonomously while staying connected with the team
• Demonstrated stakeholder management

Responsibilities

• Build and promote Great Southern Bank lending products to local customers.
• Network and develop referrals with Branch Manager to grow the customer base.
• Own home loans from application to completion and grow the pipeline.
• Meet service standards and performance targets in daily operations.
