Job summary

Bet Technology in Cronulla, NSW is seeking an experienced full-time Bookkeeper to join our medium-sized business. You will manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and monthly/quarterly financial statements across multiple entities.

You should have 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, strong knowledge of MYOB or Xero, and excellent data accuracy. Ability to work independently and with a team is essential, along with solid Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Bookkeeper.
• Proficient in MYOB or Xero.
• Certificate IV Bookkeeping or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Managing accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Processing weekly Payroll & HR for employees of multiple entities.
• Preparing monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and BAS reports.
• Assisting our external accountant with the preparation of tax returns.
• Maintaining general ledgers and subsidiary ledgers.
• Completing bank reconciliations and cash flow management.
• Providing administrative support.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and taxation requirements.
• Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and procedures.
