Pennock Executive Recruiting is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper & Finance Coordinator for a part-time role in Perth, WA. You will support a group of ASX-listed and private entities, handling bookkeeping, reporting and day-to-day financial administration across multiple companies.
You will work closely with management and external advisers, ensure accurate financial records, and step in to cover office tasks as needed. Autonomy and ownership are essential.
Working closely with management, directors, accountants and external advisers, you will provide dedicated finance and administrative support across a group of ASX-listed and private resources companies. While bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records will form the core of the role, this position requires broader responsibility across finance, administration and day-to-day office support. You will be organised, commercially minded, comfortable working autonomously and willing to step into whatever needs to be done to keep the businesses running efficiently.
Key responsibilities
Accounts payable and receivable
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Payroll and employee-related finance administration
Maintaining accurate accounting records and supporting month-end processes
BAS/GST preparation and liaison with external accountants
Assisting with annual audits and preparing information requested by auditors
Supporting management with general finance tasks, reporting and financial administration
Managing supplier invoices, payments and expense claims
Booking and coordinating flights, accommodation and business travel
About you
Strong bookkeeping and accounting experience
Excellent working knowledge of Xero and Microsoft Office
Experience working across multiple companies or entities
Experience assisting with audits and working with external accountants
Strong attention to detail and financial accuracy
Excellent organisational and administrative skills
Confidence dealing directly with directors, management and external advisers
The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
A practical, proactive attitude - if something needs doing, you're comfortable taking ownership of it
