Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Project Manager to lead Building Management System (BMS) projects across WA. You will own scope, schedule, cost, safety and quality, coordinating with clients, consultants, builders and subcontractors from initiation to commissioning and handover.

The role demands a commercially astute professional with PMP certification or intent, strong stakeholder engagement, and deep knowledge of BMS/HVAC systems. Perth-based, on-site with competitive remuneration.

Qualifications

• Tertiary or trade qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• PMP certification or ability to achieve certification.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with client engagement experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of complex BMS and building automation projects.
• Effectively manage project scope, schedule, cost and risk baselines.
• Develop and manage detailed project execution plans, including cost forecasts, WBS, schedules and critical path analysis.
• Maintain a high level of communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive project reviews, risk management activities, resource planning and allocation to achieve budget, schedule and quality outcomes.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers ensuring budget, scope, timelines and quality requirements are met.
• Monitor project performance and financial outcomes, including forecasting, variations and reporting.
• Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with project requirements.
