Job summary

UGL, part of the CIMIC Group, seeks a Bid Manager to coordinate tender preparation and submission for major infrastructure opportunities in Australia. You will work within the Major Projects team, managing the handover from proposal to contract initiation and liaising with customers and partners to secure outcomes.

The role offers opportunities across data centres, transport and defence sectors, with flexibility to be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane and a focus on delivering

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (Commerce, Engineering, Marketing)
• Extensive Bid Manager experience in railway, infrastructure including tunnelling, communications, data centres, electrical
• Understanding of tender and bid management, commercial, contractual, financial and legal aspects of the role

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the preparation of the tender and submission requirements for allocated projects.
• Manage the process between proposal submission and contract award.
• Develop winning proposal strategies and ensure their implementation.
• Review tender documentation for technical and commercial commitments.
• Conduct risk assessments and manage financial, legal and resource risks.
• Develop relationships with customers and stakeholders across the organisation.
