Job summary

BMD Group is seeking an experienced Bid Lead to secure major infrastructure projects across NSW and the ACT. You will lead bids from early planning through submission, clarifications and handover, aligning estimating, engineering, commercial and delivery teams to develop competitive, deliverable solutions.

Reporting to the pre-contracts team, you will manage bid programmes, governance and stakeholder communications, drawing on civil infrastructure expertise and a track record of leading

Qualifications

• Experience with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 civil infrastructure contractor.
• Strong bid management knowledge (governance and approvals).
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence stakeholders.
• Sound construction, programming, estimating and commercial knowledge.

We are seeking an experienced Bid Lead to secure major infrastructure projects across NSW and the ACT. Working within our pre-contracts team, you will lead bids from early planning through to submission, clarification and handover. Bringing together estimating, engineering, commercial and delivery specialists, you will develop competitive and deliverable solutions across transport, water, renewables and Defence.

Key responsibilities

You Will

About You

You are an experienced bid, pre-contracts or project delivery professional with strong civil infrastructure knowledge. You may be a Bid Lead or Pre-Contracts Manager, or a Project Director or Senior Project Manager who has successfully led a major bid from inception through to award and delivery.

You Will Bring

• experience with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 civil infrastructure contractor
• strong knowledge of bid management, governance and approvals
• proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence stakeholders
• sound construction, programming, estimating and commercial knowledge
• excellent written communication, presentation and facilitation skills.

Experience across transport, water, renewables or Defence will be highly regarded, particularly within Transport for NSW, Sydney Water, regional council or government procurement environments.
