Job summary

Northcott is seeking an Advanced Practitioner – Behaviour Support to deliver specialist, person-centred Positive Behaviour Support for clients with complex needs. You will develop Interim and Comprehensive Plans aligned with NDIS Commission requirements and promote independence, skills, and quality of life.

You will contribute to housing and functional assessments, deliver training, and support interdisciplinary practice while supervising practitioners and promoting rights for people with

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in disability/health field or equivalent.
• Advanced PBS knowledge and ability to apply PBS in complex cases.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Experience leading and mentoring teams in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Experience delivering person-centred, evidence-based PBS interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist, person-centred Positive Behaviour Support for customers with complex needs.
• Develop Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans that meet NDIS Commission requirements.
• Contribute to housing and functional assessments, training delivery, and interdisciplinary practice.
• Provide practice leadership, supervision, and peer support across teams.
• Support recruitment, induction, and professional development activities.
