Job summary

Everyday Independence is seeking experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners to deliver life-changing therapy to NDIS participants. Roles span homes, schools, workplaces and community settings with supervision from a Therapy Mentor.

You will develop Behaviour Support Plans, conduct FBAs and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to help participants achieve goals. We require a relevant degree with regulatory registration (AHPRA/SPA/AASW as applicable) plus a minimum 12 months’ experience.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification and registration (AHPRA/SPA/AASW as applicable).
• Minimum 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
• Be deemed as a Behaviour Support Practitioner by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (letter required).
• Valid Australian driver’s license and Working with Children Check/NDIS screening.

Responsibilities

• Work across diverse settings including homes, schools, playgrounds, workplaces and community centres.
• Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies.
• Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA).
• Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams to address behavioural challenges.
• Attend weekly team meetings and contribute to team discussions.
