TheirCare Pty in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practice Lead to join our Positive Pathways team. You will provide specialist leadership across complex behaviour support matters, combining direct practice with clinical supervision.

Reporting to the Head of NDIS Services, you will oversee Behaviour Support Plans, manage restrictive practice reporting, and ensure alignment with NDIS Practice Standards while coaching practitioners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Social Work or closely related allied health discipline
• Experience as Social Worker, Behaviour Analyst or Behaviour Support Practitioner
• Experience with children, young people, families or people with disability
• Strong knowledge of positive behaviour support, safeguarding and rights-based practice
• Experience providing supervision and coaching to practitioners
• Knowledge of restrictive practice requirements and least-restrictive practice

Responsabilités

• Maintain direct involvement in complex participant cases with observation and engagement in everyday service environments
• Undertake behavioural, psychosocial and risk assessments
• Lead complex case management and case formulation
• Develop, review and guide individualised positive behaviour support strategies
• Monitor progress and effectiveness of interventions
• Provide specialist clinical consultation and escalation for complex presentations
• Provide practice-based supervision to Behaviour Support Practitioners
• Observe and coach practitioners to build capability
• Collaborate with families, carers and allied health professionals
• Analyse incidents and drive service improvement and training
• Fulfil APO responsibilities for NDIS service provision
