Job summary

Macquarie Group's Business Bank is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth by originating new lending and deposit relationships with key players in Professional and Property Services.

The role focuses on industries aligned with property—residential real estate agencies, engineers, architects, accountants, financial planners, legal professionals—and involves direct, property-backed lending with deals up to $50 million.

Qualifications

Experience in a sales environment within financial services with strong commercial credit and analytical skills.
Self-motivated, goal orientated and proactive in your approach.
Pipeline, relationship and stakeholder management skills with a track record in delivering results.
Desire for maintaining and strengthening existing relationships as well as developing new business.
Knowledge of property backed lending is valuable along with experience or networks in either the professional or property services space.

Responsibilities

Prospect and qualify potential clients while building lasting and strategic relationships.
Tailor financial solutions to generate growth and meet client needs.
Achieve monthly sales targets, conversions, quality, compliance and KYC.
