Job summary

Ayers Rock Resort is seeking a Demi Chef Pastry / Chef De Partie Pastry to join the onsite kitchen team at Yulara, NT. You will produce high‑quality pastry items, support the pastry crew, and help maintain cost control while delivering guest‑centered experiences.

The role requires a Certificate III in Patisserie and at least 2 years of post‑apprenticeship pastry experience, with opportunities to grow under experienced chefs and mentor younger staff in a dynamic resort environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Patisserie or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years post-apprenticeship pastry experience.
• Ability to supervise pastry team and manage portions and costs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce quality pastry and dessert items in line with resort standards.
• Supervise and assist the pastry team to ensure consistency and presentation.
• Monitor stock levels, portion control and food costs to hit budget targets.
