Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of commercial software development in Python and/or Java.
• Experience designing and building scalable, high-performance APIs and backend services.
• Solid understanding of relational data modelling and SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar).
• Good understanding of algorithms, data structures, and their time/space complexity.
• Experience with frontend development using React and TypeScript, or willingness to work across the full stack.
• Degree in Computer Science or a similar field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute high-quality, well-tested code to the App Analysis & Modelling backend and frontend services.
• Design and build scalable APIs and data pipelines powering code analysis and schema recommendations.
• Drive technical design and architecture for complex features (senior) or robust implementations following designs (mid-level).
• Collaborate with Product Management, other engineers, and designers to implement the product roadmap.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain best practices and code quality; provide feedback on designs and PRs.
• Help troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the stack; support CI/CD, testing, and quality processes.
• Mentor and guide team members, elevating engineering best practices (senior).
